Toward Class Community Of Life: From The Traditional Class Management Class Students' Self-management Study

Class as the main area for students to study and live in, it should play its rich education value which is centered around promoting students to grow healthily. However, traditional class management overemphasizes control and obeying, regards the so called good disciplines and orders as the most important things, so that class management degrades to be the addition to class teaching, and thus the rich education value of class can not be expressed.Therefore, class management should complete the transformation from the traditional management to the modern class management which is charactered by students managing their class by themselves. The new style of class management regards that every student can participate the class management as an equal subjective by dialoguing and discussing as the central idea of the new style of class management, and to build the class to be a class-life-common-community as the aim of the new style of the management, with the hope to promote every student to develop healthily in many aspects. This kind of transformation means the transformation of many aspects, such as series of ideas, roles of students and teachers, the forms of class operation , the style of valuing, and so on. Therefore, the transformation of class management is a complicated system task.Thus, to fulfill such a transformation at a school have no hope to get a good effect, without correct instruction ideas, concrete planning, considering systemically, or promoting carefully. Shanghai Zhuyuan Middle School chooses the style of subject research around the main subject named Building class-life-common-community : the theory and practice of modern class organization and management organizes its whole strength, promoting the new style of management actively and steadily, basing on theory and practice, which provides a successful and instructive example for us.
