In recent years, using information and communication technologies (ICT) to stimulate the modernization of education has become an key strategic initiative in the development of education in our country.Meanwhile,the field of K-12 education is characterized by the integration of application development trends. what about the effectiveness of ICT in teaching? As the key implementers, teachers themselves how to use ICT in teaching? What about teachers'attitudes? And what factors will influence their behaviors? Education theorists, educationaland administrative departments, school organizations, and the public began to concern about these issues. These issues are the key point to further promote the healthy development of ICT in Education.To obtain a complete picture of the current situation of ICT in teaching and the influence factors teachers use ICT to teach,this paper chose 577 teachers that come from 7 schools of baoshan district in shanghai as sample, using interview, literature available and questionnaire methods to collect relevant data.The paper consists of five chapters:Chapter 1: Including the background and motivation ,issues, new perspectives of research as well as terminology explained;Chapter 2: Explain the meaning of integrating ICT into teaching and the related research;Chapter 3: Introduce research procedures, research structure, assumptions, target, tool, data processing and analysis in detail;Chapter 4: Use spss 12.0 as an analytical tool to analyze the current situation of ICT in teaching and the influence factors teachers use ICT to teach;Chapter 5: Based on research findings, several suggestions are recommended.The key findings of this paper are, Very few teachers (about 10%) are in the final"invention"stage, most teacher are in the lower stages, like"entry"stage,"adoption"stage. The effectiveness of ICT in Education needs to be enhanced. teachers'attitude toward ICT, self-confidence, as well as the status of the school environment have a great influence on the teachers'behaviors and the stages of instructional evolution,especially electronic resources, time and professional development; school policy and culture; teachers'confidence in teaching.These findings will help to improve effectiveness of ICT in teaching and policy development.
