As the speeding up of education information, education has undergone profound changes from ideas to methods, contents, tools, and other aspects. All these will desire the to-be teacher which has never been. Under such background, the contents and format of normal university has been faced with tremendous challenge. Traditional teaching skill has not satisfied the education information of change with passing day. It is very important for the normal school students who will undertake the career of teaching to have higher information literacy(LI for short), with which he can assume and filtrate information fast, take order with information in a creating way. The level of their IL will affect the quality of basic education and affect training innovative talents. This paper seeks to find a suitable way to think and explore the existing problem and guide them to cultivate and promote their LI, which will in turn have a crucial benefit to them.The normal schools have on their shoulder to cultivate be-on teachers, in which the LI can be promoted. In this paper, the students from S University who are major in primary education are chosen for study. The method of literature review, questionnaire and interview are applied to focus on the design and research of LI. Research questions of this thesis are listed as follows: 1.What is the status of LI of normal school students? 2. Which factors will have an impact on their LI? 3. What is the strategy to promote their LI?The findings of the survey show that the students' information consciousness is weakness and are lack of sensitivity. They know less commonly used information term. Their knowledge of multimedia making and network is not very stable. They are short of managing information, with which they can conformity and create educational resources. Comparatively, their information moral is all right, but the respect to knowledge property right is expected to be promoted.The penman tries to focus on the influencing factor of LI to find that the LI level is affected by the educational concept, curriculum setting, guiding of net moral education from normal schools, also occupation self-identity and capacity of self-learning from individual.Thus, based on the core concept of making education, normal school students need their individual efforts and contribution from school to promote their LI. What the normal schools should do is listed as follow: 1.Consummating their educational contents, form, approach and estimate.2.Opitimizing the circumstance of construction of information basic establishment.3.Composing the curriculum system to satisfy the information teaching.4.Intensify the student' occupation self-identity.
