In the context of mathematics curriculum reform, mathematical inquiry learning has become a focus of research in China. However, developed mathematical teaching material based inquiry learning is not common. With the development of science and information technology, inquiry environment, inquiry tools, the purpose of inquiry has changed. However, after the second course of reform, to Combine with Graphing calculator (Hereinafter referred to as GC), which is a new kind of inquiry tool, is not a lot. The theory of domestic and international research shows that the use of graphing calculator will help mathematical inquiry learning. Therefore, the author makes together with the development of inquiry mathematical teaching and graphing calculator. The aim is research how to develop the mathematical inquiry teaching materials with GC.The contents of this paper is to develop mathematical teaching materials and teaching practice, and to combining quantitative and qualitative methods of research to analyze the effect of teaching. Firstly, the author discusses and reflects about mathematical inquiry learning and the theory of developing inquiry teaching in the background of information technology. Secondly, after exploring the characteristics of the course with mathematics, mathematics and inquiry learning in context of GCE, the author constructs the general processes of how to develop the mathematical inquiry teaching materials. Then, the author explores models of inquiry teaching and learning which is suit for GC. Thirdly, the author applies this basic theory to develop a number of typical materials used in teaching practice. My purposes are investigation with inquiry teaching materials teaching effectiveness, and to stimulate the interest of the students and to promote the active inquiry learning through the use of materials. Finally, based on the analysis in research, the author will further amend with the guidance theories and materials development process.The main results include the following three aspects:1. On inquiry development process of mathematics teaching The current study is lack of actual development of teaching materials, at the same time, also the lack of systematic theory. Therefore, after referred to foreign materials development process, the author proposes a set of applied mathematics GCE's explore the process of developing teaching materials, then, to lay the foundation for the development of teaching materials.2. Construction of mathematical inquiry process theoryAfter a full analysis of the theory, the author more concerned about the activities of the mathematical inquiry. In the GCE background, the author proposed for the exploration of different types of math teaching, inquiry learning, and inquiry learning evaluation. Meanwhile, the author is also concerned about issues to explore the role of learning, and use the "What if not" to improve students ability to question.3. The major findings of survey StudyInvestigating of experiments has many important conclusions. Generally speaking, the following main conclusions:(1) In the background of GCE, the contexts of the use of mathematics teaching materials increased interest of students'self-inquiry. ( 2 ) It is effective for mathematical inquiry learning with the use of "What if not".(3) To explore the teaching of mathematics is feasible and effective.
