Penglai City Investigation On The Quality Of Primary Rural Teachers

The reforms and development of the rural education are very important to the construction of a new socialist countryside. Rural education plays a significant role in promoting the development of quality education and compulsory education. The quality of rural teachers is the key to the improvement of rural education. In recent years, generally, there is still a relatively big gap between teachers in city and those in countryside though the latter's social and economic statuses are being improved gradually as the judgment of the profession and the quality in countryside. In China, owing to the difference between cities and countryside and imbalance economic development of districts, the rural teachers of primary and middle schools are weak in arrangement, quantity and quality, and among all these problems, the quality is the one that should be worried about most.The paper, on the topic of improving the quality of rural teachers of primary schools, aims to find the problems in their quality, and then work out solutions and suggestions to improve the quality of the teachers. This paper can be used for reference to improve the quality of rural teachers in Penglai, even in Yantai.The paper is divided into four parts:I. the background and problems of the research.II. references and methods of the research.III. the result and analysis of the investigation of the five aspects quality of teachers in primary schools, the quality of knowledge ,the quality of ability ,the quality of ideology and moral ,the quality of psychology and the quality of physical fitness. It is analyzed from two dimensions—the age and gender differences. And this is the key part .IV. the suggestions and solutions to improve the quality of primary school teachers in Penglai are put forward on the basis of the investigation.
