Content: Curriculum assessment always played a key role in the new curriculum reform. It changed the traditional assessment process that extremely emphasized the function of discrimination and selection of students, and it more greatly exerted the function of promoting student's development and teacher's improvement. Since the 20th century 80s, many western countries and our country had gone through an assessment reform, in which presented some new evaluation methods which were different from the traditional ones, such as the typical portfolio assessment, performance assessment and so on. Especially, portfolio assessment was more popular in educators because it was mainly looked as a quality evaluation method and tool that embodied the new requirement of curriculum evaluation. Portfolio assessment was one of the development assessment, embodying learn was a process and evaluation should be a process assessment. The earliest study of portfolio assessment was the "project zero" carried out by Harvard University education department. The appearance of eportfolio assessment represented a reform in teaching and learning that relied on the globalization of knowledge, economy and network. The distribution of global learning recourse and the emergence of study opportunity broke the limitation of traditional school. Learning should not be instilled, but be a process of development, communication, collaboration and the self-reflection of behavior.This paper mainly analyzed the present study of eportoflio assessment and displayed the evaluation system in basic education was thinner based on above conception. So it was more essential to bring the eportoflio assessment system into basic education. The author used the ASP technology and Access database technology to develop a new eportfolio system; the system was divided four kinds of users: administer, teacher, student and parent; also the system embodied three areas of eportoflio, discussion and share. The main function of this ePortoflio system include: recording,saving and re-displaying student's earning process, and assessing the process of learning and learning products. Parents' participation was the biggest advantage of this system. The author put forward a suggestion to apply this eportoflio system, and identified certain problems which should be properly dealt with in the actrual application. Finally the author discussed the limitation of eportfolio in the development and teaching application, and also provides the suggestions about the future development of eportfolio.
