"Self-learning guidance teaching method"is presented and designed by Professor Lu Zhongheng in the 1960s, it influenced mathematics education field deeply in our country, and became one of the important patterns on mathematics teaching.For thirty years, experimental classes of this teaching method spread thirty provinces, autonomous regions and municipality cities in our country. All the mathematics teachers summarized self-learning teaching methods with their respective characteristics based on the teaching mode, which is inspiration, followed by read, practice, and comprehension, and finally the conclusion. But, all the researches on the"self-learning guidance teaching method"are aiming at mathematics learning at middle schools or senior high schools, not concerning researches on the secondary vocational schools'. However, according to some relating theories on"self-learning guidance teaching method", it can help to improve mathematics learning abilities and develop self-learning abilities of students in secondary vocational schools. Therefore, researches of application of"self-learning guidance teaching method"in secondary vocational school mathematics teaching have important significance.This article performed deeply research on application of"self-learning guidance teaching method"based on existing researching situation combining with the students the author teaching ,which target is making this teaching method according with the mathematics learning characteristics of secondary school students, and becoming the new teaching method fitting for the students. This article mainly used analysis, investigation and experiments and so on. At first, this article analyzed relating theories completely and exhaustively. Then, it investigated present situation of secondary school mathematics teaching, and put forward appropriate application strategy based on the"self-learning guidance teaching method". Finally, this article verified the strategy by experiments.The article consists five parts: The first part describes the background of subject, research content and method, and overviews applications of"self-learning"method in past several decades.Discovering that The applications only focused on the mathematics study of middle school students, not referring to the study of secondary vocational school students, therefore, it is necessary to research this subject. The second part is relating theory, including origin, theoretical foundation, characteristics, teaching principle, teaching mode and experiment process of the"self-learning"instruction method. Allof these are theoretical supporting of the subject research. The third part discusses the current situation of the secondary vocational school mathematics teaching. By questionnaire, we make survey and research to teaching situations of secondary vocational school mathematical teachers and the studying condition of the students. Result proved that secondary vocational school mathematics teachers need appropriate methods.Method to stimulate internal potential of students, especially in fostering their self-learning abilities. At the same time , students believe they have the self-learning abilities in mathematics lesson, and longing for that the teacher can change traditional teaching method, therefore, this subject need to be researched. The forth part is the using discussion on"self-learning guidance method"in secondary vocational school mathematics teaching process, focusing on different lesson type, the author designed"self-learning guidance method"with secondary vocational school style. Take the concrete lesson content, and illustrate questions should be paid attention to during the actual teaching process. The fifth part is a one year experiment of the"self-learning guidance method"used in the secondary vocational school mathematics class. Comparing the new and old teaching modes between experimental class and contrastive class. Contrasting between experiment fore-and-aft, the practice results affirms the active significance of using"self-learning guidance method"in secondary vocational school teaching process.
