| School is an organic part and parcel of society. With high-crowded personnel, they usually become the places where crisis is easy to happen. If the teachers and students at school don't have strong safety consciousness and if the school isn't provided with serious measures on management, crisis may possibly happen. Therefore, it's necessary to regard crisis management as an important part of daily management at school. It seems essential and urgent to emphasize on the research of Crisis Management at school. Using the general crisis concepts, introducing Crisis Management concept to schools, combining the school characteristic, and finding a set of management strategies to conform to the school crisis with Chinese characteristic are the guarantee for the school development.Based on Crisis Management theory, the first systematic and comprehensive discussed in this paper the School Crisis Management theory. Respectively to define the School Crisis and School Crisis Management summed up their respective characteristics and on stage.On this basis, then, according to the type of school crisis, the school crisis will be divided into Small-Scale crisis and Large-Scale crisis two types of crisis. And the two crises are given to the definition, characteristics and stage control. According to the characteristics of two different kinds of crises, focused on the management of the implementation are different. School Large-Scale crisis focused on Mid-Crisis Management and Post-Crisis Management, which make big problems into small ones. School Small-Scale crisis focused on Post-Crisis Management, which make small problems into noting. And each presented case studies, to sum up the practical experience in Crisis Management lessons. |
