prominent.As a part of the country’s development,colleges and universities also face many problems.With the continuous expansion of college enrollment and campus expansion,various crisis events have occurred from time to time,disrupting the normal work and learning order of colleges and universities,and endangering the safety of the lives and property of teachers and students in colleges and universities.Whether it is the realization of the national health goal of the "Healthy China2030" Planning Outline or the emergency rescue of casualties,it needs the strong protection of medical staff.Medical schools shoulder the responsibility of cultivating doctors and medical-related talents.It is the main source of talent export in the medical industry.In the face of possible crisis events,managers of higher medical schools should have the necessary preparations to ensure the safe and stable development of colleges and universities,and college crisis management should be normalized,standardized,and professional.There are 5 general medical colleges and universities in Henan Province.X Medical College,as the backbone of the training of medical students,shoulders the important task of exporting qualified medical and health personnel to the society.At the same time,the main school-running indicators of the school are at the average level of ordinary colleges and universities in Xinxiang City.Have a certain degree of representativeness.This study uses CNKI,Wanfang,and Pub Med databases to conduct literature research to sort out the concepts and related theories of crisis management;through interviews and questionnaire surveys,a new questionnaire on crisis management status in colleges and universities was revised and formulated,and students from different grades and majors of X Medical College were randomly selected.The faculty and staff conduct a survey on the current situation of the school’s crisis management.Perform statistical research on the survey results,combine the prevention and control work of X Medical College during the new crown pneumonia epidemic,and combine the MPPRR crisis management model to analyze the current situation of X Medical College’s crisis management.The study found that: Mitigation stage: The crisis management system of X Medical College has been initially established,and the crisis management system is basically sound.Students and faculty generally recognize that crisis management is included in the daily management of the school.Prevention stage: The collection of early warning information of X Medical College is diversified.Over 70% of students and over 90% of faculty members believe that pre-crisis prevention is the most important;nearly 50% of students and faculty members are not aware that the school has a special emergency response plan.Preparation stage: Crisis preparation is organized and planned.Nearly 70% of the faculty and over 70% of the students are not aware of the crisis in colleges and universities;the students receiving crisis education are more diverse and the faculty and staff are more concentrated;nearly 70% of the students and 60% of the faculty are not aware that the school has organized a crisis event simulation exercise.Response stage: The main body of university management responds quickly and actively,while paying attention to the prevention and control work of the university itself,it also actively assumes social responsibilities.Students and faculty members are basically aware of crisis response methods;the school actively intervened in crisis incidents immediately,and was recognized by more than 70% of students and nearly 90% of faculty members.Recovery phase: The recovery work is carried out in a stable and orderly manner.The biggest impact caused by the crisis is the increased alertness of the participants;nearly half of the students and over 60% of the faculty believe that the school summarizes experience and lessons every time;the school teachers and students are basically satisfied with the crisis intervention measures taken by the school.Based on the current situation,it is found that there is still a crisis management awareness in crisis management in higher medical schools that needs to be improved,early warning information collection and internal communication need to be strengthened,human resource reserves and knowledge preparation need to be emphasized,crisis response capabilities and crisis public relations awareness need to be enhanced,and crisis intervention measures There are problems such as differences in satisfaction.Analyze the reasons for the above problems.On the one hand,the crisis management system is not sound,which is manifested in the lack of professional crisis management departments,the difficulty of crisis early warning and monitoring,the inadequate implementation of crisis communication,and the lack of crisis evaluation mechanisms.On the other hand,the crisis education system is not sound,which is manifested in the poor effect of theoretical knowledge education,and there are fewer crisis drills and practical education.Finally,this article puts forward corresponding countermeasures to help medical colleges and universities improve their crisis management capabilities.On the one hand,improve the crisis management countermeasure system of medical colleges and universities,specifically,set up an independent crisis management department,seek external assistance to collect early warning information comprehensively,do a good job in crisis internal communication and external public relations,and establish a scientific and reasonable crisis evaluation mechanism.On the other hand,the establishment of a multi-level crisis education system includes the establishment of basic compulsory courses for crisis awareness education,the establishment of compulsory courses for emergency rescue majors,and the establishment of emergency skills
