Based on research of drama in education in Shanghai primary schools, The thesis aims to make a research and analysis of the approaches of theatre in school curriculums, in school theatre groups and in school activities. By exploring the training demand of improving teacher's compresensive abilities of developing curriculums, the thesis proposes a constructive proposal and solution of how to apply drama in education and creative drama as a process-learning tools into the educational system of primary schools, thus to develop drama education by transforming theatre-centered"Elite Education"into the dissemination of curriculum-centered"All-pervading Education". The thesis serves as r as exploring reference material for the advocacy of Creative Education for the educational reform. It also will offer the suggestions to the cultivation of personnel in arts education.
