Junior High School Physics Inquiry Learning Process Evaluation To Explore

In the present curriculum reform, transforming evaluation concepts and achieving teaching evaluation diversification is an important issue. It is in this background that the processing evaluation was put forward. Processing evaluation is not only the result of research development in the area and but also needed in teaching reform practice. In middle school, inquiry learning is considered as an important method in learning physics. Compared with other methods, it is practical, participatory, open and easier to raise questions . It is good for promoting the overall quality of students. So it becomes a particular important issue to study how to put the processing evaluation in practice.Based on the study of relevant work, the definition, the theoretical foundation, the characteristics, the classification and the meaning of procesing evaluation are expatiated in this thesis. Then the practice of processing evaluation carried out among eighth-grade students in one semester is introduced. The practice detailed the evaluation indices in inquiry learning process, extrated effective methods, such as observation, interview, tabling the evaluation scale, writing learning log etc.. The flow chart of operating the processing evaluation is designed, the table of processing evaluation, inquiry learning activity log for middle school physics inquiry learning are compiled. Preliminary evaluation of the teaching practice shows that it meets the requirement that assessment should focus on learning process, helps the teachers know the feelings of students participating the inquiry learning, and it is good for improving students' self-understanding abilities and increasing their reflection capacities. This thesis presents the model of processing evaluation in inquiry learning, that is, observe evaluation - student self-evaluation - evaluation in group - interview evaluation - learning log - teacher's evaluation - evaluation feedback. It has a good reference value in the implementation of inquiry learning assessment.
