Students’ abilities are estimated by various methods and evaluation is an essential part of the teaching of information technology courses in junior high schools.Documents such as the2022 edition of "Overall Plan for Deepening Educational Reform in the New Era" and "Compulsory Education Information Technology Curriculum Standards" have repeatedly underlined that process evaluation should not be ignored when we appraise a student and a scientific and justifiable evaluation system should be established.The way to evaluate students’ abilities should not be focused on basic knowledge and learning skills and more attention to the evaluation of students’ literacy levels such as thinking,problem solving and information awareness in the learning process is obvious.What’s more,new evaluation methods emphasize paying attention to students’ learning experience,recording students’ growth and improving the comprehensive quality evaluation.This kind of process evaluation can effectively promote students’ learning and overall development.However,in our teaching of information technology courses today,the final test is regarded as the only way to evaluate students’ learning performance,especially for the highly operable content of "data processing module" where the software ability is overly stressed when evaluating students’ abilities and literacy levels in all kinds of the learning process is underestimated.This study targets at some existing problems in the process evaluation of the "data processing module" of the junior high school information technology course where the design and practice research of the process evaluation program is carried out.The research status of core literacy and the process evaluation of information technology courses as well as "data processing module" of junior high school information technology courses is sorted out in this study,and the preliminary design of process evaluation scheme is also carried out based on the specific content of "data processing module" of junior high school information technology courses.The process evaluation scheme is applied to the teaching of the "data processing module" of the information technology course by the method of action with the help of the students in Class 6,Grade 8,T Middle School in F City as the research object.In each round of action research,a process evaluation plan for the "data processing module" of junior high school information technology courses guided by the core literacy of information technology subjects is finally established through classroom observation,interviews on students and teachers whom were consulted about some problems relating to the process plan,after which progress and corrections were made.The effectiveness of the process evaluation plan is tested by applying the process evaluation plan to teaching practices,taking survey on the benefits resulting from the plan and observing lesson situation.The research shows that the application of the process evaluation scheme of "data processing module" in junior high school information technology courses has a positive effect on improving students’ core literacy in information technology subjects and improve students’ learning interest,reflection awareness and evaluation ability to a certain extent at the same time.The process evaluation plan of the "data processing module" of the junior high school information technology course designed in this study is expected to provide reference for follow-up researchers and front-line teachers. |
