| Colleges of higher vocational education in China give top priority to imparting application knowledge and skills which are needed for students to take up an occupation. In other words,they focus on equipping students with the compulsory abilities to do job hunting. However,they neglect to nurture students' humane qualities. To some extent,colleges of higher vocational education in China are just firms or factories to educate instrumental"talents"and the so-called "talents" we have cultivated are not complete talents but containers or carriers of skills and knowledge. Our economic and social development has grown into a stage in which quality and Chinese characteristics are the key elements. If colleges of higher vocational education didn't pay close attention to the quality of talent training,they couldn't keep pace with economic and social development,nor could their students.At present,humane quality-oriented education for higher vocational education college students in China has been attached great importance to. It has been put into practice in some colleges in some regions,and remarkable achievements have been made. But large quantities of colleges haven't yet adopted effective measures in terms of awareness,majors,curriculum,teaching staff construction,creation of humane environment on campus,and haven't made much progress due to some external factors,such as social environment,employment environment,family environment and policy environment,and so on.Therefore,with the related research findings at home and abroad,this paper, based on practical investigation,fully probes into humane quality-oriented education for higher vocational education college students with the hope of enriching the theories of humane quality-oriented education and contributing to its implementation. This thesis consists of three sections. They are as follows:Section one expounds the definition and significance of humane quality-oriented education for higher vocational education college students. To begin with,humane quality and humane quality-oriented education are defined. Based on this,the concept of humane quality-oriented education for higher vocational education college students is fully expounded from the following four perspectives,namely,education of humane knowledge,education of humanistic ideas,education of humanistic spirit, education of humanistic methods. Finally,the important role,which humane quality-oriented education for higher vocational education college students has played in the ideological and political education for higher vocational education college students,is analyzed comprehensively.Section two gives a full analysis of the current situation of humane quality-oriented education for higher vocational education college students,and the causes of problems. After summarizing the current situation from six perspectives, such as excluding humane quality-oriented education from college overall planning, unreasonable curriculum,lack of assessment mechanism,etc.,this section examines and probes into the reasons why humane quality-oriented education for higher vocational education college students hasn't bore many fruits from four external factors (namely,society,employment,family and policy) and five internal factors (namely,awareness,major and curriculum,qualities of teaching staff,students'understanding and Campus human environment).Section three puts forward the effective countermeasures to improving humane quality-oriented education for higher vocational education college students. Considering the major problems mentioned in Section two and the key factors constraining the development of humane quality education,this section presents some feasible countermeasures to strengthening and improving humane quality education. This thesis believes that in order to effectively implement humane quality education, mode of thinking must be changed,the idea of human development in an all round way must be practiced,scientific education system must be constructed, the principle of equal importance must be abided by,and assessment system must be perfected. |
