Hebei Provincial Capital Of College Students Survey Of Social And Educational Countermeasures

With the development of economy and education of our country, higher education tends to be popularized with its informative and international particularity. University students become socialized in a deeper sense though there is still much to be done in their majors and synthetic techniques, and their ability to adapt to the society as well their phycological capacity to adjust themselves to avoid dangers in terms of values, phycological disorders and virtue cultivation; little love and generosity are spared for the rest of the world, which might have caused the increase in crimes and barriers in communication with others, as well as inability in practical operation and social adaptation and lack of perseverance. This thesis, based on former research, started out to provide possible solution and suggestion to certain undergraduates in Hebei Province, who are in the socializational eduction compaign concerning different aspects such as politics, virtue, phycology, ability and knolwdge on the whole. The thesis proper is based on the analysis of the present situation of 1,008 under-graduates in shi jiazhuang city in Hebei Province, and put forward some potential measures in the process of the socialization of unviersity students.Findings:(1) Different kinds of universities play various roles in the modelling of the socilization of politics and virtues, yet little when it comes to terms with ability, phycology, and knowledge.(2) Difference in terms of sex among Heibei University students is obvious in male advantages over females in political action and belief, and the socilization of ability and knowledge; while females take the lead in political emotion, recognition of social virtues, the negative psychology, and phycological socialization.(3) University students of science are obviously advantagerous and with a total grade higher than students of Arts and Physical education in politcal behaviour, recognition of self-virtue, relationship between virtue and future,virtue socialization. Yet with respect to virtue-emotion, there is a contrast strong and striking between students of Science and those of Arts, and the latter has an advantage only on recognition of virture and future socialization over students of Art and P. E..(4) Hebei undergraduates display a remarkbale intendence in political socialization and that of virtue, study, and ability of adjustment in study.(5) On terms of political respects, university party members tend to be more advantagous with regards to politcal, virtue, phycological, knowledge and abilility socilization.(6) Hebei university students bear the characteristics that the students of Grade Three bear greater advantage in virtual socialization; concerning the negative psychology, students of Grade one over those of Grade Four, as to sociability, students of Grade Three are remarkably better than those of Grade One.(7)students grown up in the company of their parents carry obvious advantage in political emotion, personal virtue while those who grow up with little perental care are more outstanding in political behaviour and conviction.(8)Students with fewer sisters or brothers are inclined to get on well in the socilaization of study, ability and knowledge acquisition, yet grades of political behaviour, political socialization, virtural socilization and self-confidence show that students from families with two youngsters are more excelent than those with more sisters(brothers).(9) Fathers with elementary schooling or high educational degree displays advantages in political behaviour, belief, virtue and recognition of future, ability and knowledge socialization. Mothers'educational degree works heavily on student's process in the socialization of their study adjustment, ability, and knowledge. Mothers with higher educational background generally have children with stronger competence in the socialization of ability and knowledge than those whose mothers have comparatively lower level of education.(10) Investigation into students of the universities in shi jia zhuang shows that with regard to the socialization of political behaviour, those from towns excerts a strong contrast against those from villages; and on the socisalization of knowledge, those from cities are better than those from villages.Besides, the research also indicates that the investigated are concentrated more on emotinal rather than rational acquisition, and lay more on the forming of virtual conduct, yet neglect the training and imitation of it. Virtue in the course of work are realized more clearly than the abstrct rules of virtue itself. Phycological socialization seems to be slower and harder, in contrast with the responding reaction. They are much concerned with the knowledge, skills and physical quality of themselves, while neglecting the teamworkship, creativeness, evolutioness, and respect for their professions.Drawn from what is mentioned above should be the next conclusions, which include the measures in the school educational socialization of the graduates investigated:1. Combine the scientific aspects of ideal and conviction with all the possibilities of values and strengthen the systemic construction of values by way of the net advantage. Meanwhile we must ensure the subjectivity of graduates and capability in practice, explore effective systemic work of education to realiza the educational socialization of the university students.2. Make class a main channel in helping increase their knowledge acquisition, with self-discipline ensured by serious ruling system. Explore modern school culture, cultivating and traning the students'virtual emotion, to ascerlarate the pace of the socialization process of university students.3.Strengthen the reforming in education and teaching, exploring new models in the training of technique and the acquisition of knowledge.4. Develop warm and caring phycological inquiries, colorful group activities and teamwork concerning the phycological forming of the young.
