The new conceptions advocated by the curriculum reform of chemistry in junior high school have challenged to the traditional chemistry teaching. How to update the teaching concept of chemistry teachers and how to choose and carry out new teaching strategy in order to transform new curriculum conceptions into specific class teaching practice, influence directly the realization of new curriculum goal and the success of curriculum reform.This essay, on the basis of the preliminary exploration of teaching strategy theory as well as the theory of the curriculum reform of chemistry and combined with the subject characteristics of chemistry, develops and implements the teaching strategies of new chemistry curriculum, and it also elucidates the application of teaching strategies in practice based on specific teaching practice providing teachers inspiration and reference to the implementation of new chemistry curriculum. There are five parts in this essay:The first part is about problem-posing and purposes of the research illustrating the significance of studying on teaching strategy as well as the aim and task of the research. The second part is about the theory foundation of the research. Firstly, it discusses the definition, classification and the influencing factors in detail. Secondly, it introduces the conceptions and characteristics of the curriculum reform of chemistry in junior high school making the basis for putting forward new teaching strategy. Thirdly, it illustrates the general strategy of the curriculum reform of chemistry in junior high school. According to the new curriculum conceptions and the subject characteristics of chemistry, we should attach more importance to the implementation of the following teaching strategies in the teaching of chemistry new curriculum. (1) The situational strategy of teaching, (2) The humanistic strategy of teaching, (3) The advanced organizer strategy of teaching, (4) The probing strategy of teaching. The essay illustrates respectively the definition and implementation of the four strategies. The fourth part is the practice of the new curriculum teaching strategy of chemistry in junior high school using Compulsory Education Curriculum Standard Experimental Textbooks·Chemistry (Grade nine) published by Shandong Education Press as blueprint of teaching practice and selecting typical element compounds knowledge, basic chemistry concepts and chemistry calculation through the effectiveness and operability of teaching strategy built by the exploration of specific teaching practice. In the fifth part, the author writes down the reflection and prospect, points out some problems of the research and put forward the future research direction aimed at problems.The chemistry teaching strategy is a research field with wild involving field and high practicality. The research in the essay aims at propelling the practice of new curriculum teaching strategies of chemistry to provide an active and meaningful thinking which will put the conceptions of new curriculum into teacher's teaching practice.
