Training talents is one of the main functions of universities. Nowadays, higher education faces severe challenges from the increasingly fierce international competition, the globalization and informationization of the economy of the world, and the diversity of the need of talents. We must set up the all-around developed conceptions of education, talent and quality to improve the all-around quality of students. As a comprehensive application science, moral education plays a very important role in the process of talent training and the education for all-around development. Therefore, if we want to improve the quality of the talents, we must put moral education in the first place.However, there are still deficiencies in the moral education in universities, which has a bad influence on the talents'quality. The features are: emphasizing intellectual education while ignoring moral education; concentrating more on class teaching than on social practice. What's more, moral education is not suitable for the students'development both mentally and physically, and not for the social changes, lacking pertinence and effectiveness. This teaching method contributed to the disunity of students'theory and practice. Thereby, we should combine the moral education with its practice, using the education to guide the practice and then in turn, using the practice to deepen the education. Universities should adapt to the developments of the society and the students'psychological characteristics, interests and emotional needs, enriching the campus life to integrate moral education with intellectual education, physical education and aesthetic education. We should try to unite the education with all kinds of activities to help students improve their morality so as to promote the all-around developments of students.Having been engaged in the education management in the university for a long time, I have accumulated some experience and theory, so I chose this topic and discuss it from three aspects:The first part mainly defines the connotation of the practice of moral education and points out the meaning of it.The second part mainly talks about the foundation of the practice of moral education and explains the necessity of the education theoretically and practically.The third part mainly states the specific plan and method of the practice of moral education.When receiving moral education, man can find the deep concern about their self-cultivation, showing intensive pursuit and deep understanding of morality, and the more important is he can practice personally and sublime his own conception, emotion and will and then form the relatively stable inner moral psychology and personality. The modern theory of moral education increasingly reveals the practical characteristics of morality and the practice of moral education has become the basic conception of moral education.
