It is every educators' duty and one of the difficult questions to the course reform of fundamental education in the practice how to promote students' effective study. Whether students' study load can truly be lightened and whether students can learn how to study as well as grasp the knowledge, the key is that teachers should guide and cultivate students to grasp the suitable learning methods so as to improve their study efficiency on the basis of providing effective teaching. Seeking the effective study not only can improve students' achievements, also be the basic way to make students develop continuously. The aim of this research topic is to seek the methods of effective study by means of thinking it deeply in theory, surveying its present conditions and causes.The main questions for discussion are: the definition and related theory base of effective study, the present conditions and causes of the study efficiency,effectof history course for students.In the foreword the article simply shows the purpose, significance and objective of the research. The first part, which expounds what is effective study and its features and theoretical base, is mainly about the definition and theory of effective study. On the basis of surveying the present condition of students' effective study, the second part is mainly about students' non-intellectual factors and teachers' factors which influence the study efficiency (including effect) and the relationship between study achievements and the study efficiency (including effect).
