Classical Chinese texts are carrier of excellent Chinese traditional culture and important parts of Chinese civilization. All excellent classical Chinese texts embody great ethos. However, there are many problems in current teaching and learning about classical Chinese texts, which status is not optimistic. In the background of new curriculum reform, in order to realize essential renovation of teaching and learning of classical Chinese texts in secondary schools, it should actively assimilate and use outstanding outcomes of curriculum reform to serve itself.In the thesis, the author studies the teaching and learning of classical Chinese texts in secondary schools from the vision of the educational rationale of dialogue.Firstly, the author investigates and analyses the status of teaching and learning of classical Chinese texts in secondary schools to find out the strengths and problems, suggests that the teaching and learning of classical Chinese texts in secondary schools should be integrated with teaching and learning rationale of new curriculum, that is realizing the its all-round reform based on educational rationale of dialogue.Secondly, the author deeply studies educational rationale of dialogue. There into mostly describes the theory of dialogue education of Paulo Freire, the famous educationist in Brazil, the idea of dialogue education of Martin Buber, the famous philosopher and educationist in Germany, and the dialogue theory and its implication to teaching and learning of Bakhtin, the famous philosopher, esthetician and literal theorist in former Russia.Thirdly, the author demonstrates the implementing conditions in applying educational rationale of dialogue to teaching and learning of classical Chinese texts in secondary schools, which includes such four dimensions as choosing the appropriate dialogue contents, creating the harmonious climate of dialogue, establishing the regulations of dialogue, and gaining the institutional support to dialogue. Only meeting these conditions, the teaching and learning of classical Chinese texts is implemented successfully.Fourthly, based on the facts of teaching and learning of classical Chinese texts in secondary schools, the author points out the strategies of applying educational rationale of dialogue to it, which includes six parts, such as establishing the goals of the teaching and learning of classical Chinese dialogue, inspiring students participating in reading dialogue of classical Chinese texts, accumulating and analyzing the knowledge of classical Chinese in dialogue, developing the language sense of classical Chinese through reading and rehearsing, questioning and inquiring to advance ability of classical Chinese.
