Fundamentally, the evaluation of curriculum program in vocational education is an important issue in the modern vocational education curriculum theory and practice which is imperative but hard to solve. Therefore, studies on the evaluation of curriculum program for vocational education will be of great value both in theory and in practice. This research will be aiming at not only promoting the expansion of the research fields in the current vocational education curriculum theory in China, but hoping to support the practice of vocational education curriculum reforms both in the applied theory and the methodology of evaluation.This research will be developed progressively by three levels: the first is to make an analysis of the historical process and theory evolution of the vocational education and the curriculum program evaluation; the second is for the theoretical research on the curriculum program evaluation; and the third is the applied research for the curriculum program evaluation in vocational education.Based on the above ideas, this research is divided into four chapters with contents as follows:Chapter I proposes a multi-dimension perspective on the curriculum development for vocational education in China. Starting with the review of the theoretical and practical evolution for the curriculum development of vocational education, this part tries to provide a comprehensive perspective on the concept and phenomena of vocational education curriculum from different dimensions, such as orientation, logic, structure and context and anticipates that curriculum itself will keep essential balance between the tradition and the future.In Chapter II, a multiple dynamic model for curriculum program evaluation in vocational education is constructed, based on the exploration of issues of evaluation rationality and mode, and on the analysis of fundamental orientation, pattern and evaluation factors of curriculum program evaluation in vocational education.The implementation of curriculum program evaluation in vocational education is discussed in Chapter III. After the analysis of basic steps for implementation, this chapter probes mainly into the following core issues: education goals, stratification and classification of curriculum goals, interactive impact of curriculum provision, and orientation of teaching materials structure, and brings forward the evaluation strategy and indicators for curriculum plan, curriculum criteria and teaching materials respectively.Chapter IV describes the design and reevaluation of curriculum program evaluation in vocational education. Principles of orientation, rationality, feasibility and expansibility are put forward when dealing with the designing of process and table. Furthermore, along with standards of reevaluation, the methods that addressed regulation and control for the subject in the process of evaluation are elaborated on.
