With the improvement of life quality, we attach more importance to the pursuit of happy life.After entering the WTO, with the comprehensive opening to foreign capital ofChinese banking system and joint-stock commercial banks springing up, theState-owned commercial banks are faced with increasingly intense competitions.Meanwhile, the staffs' life quality and health are attached increasing importance to.The purpose of this research is to develop the subject well-being scale for thestate-owned commercial bank staffs in Guangdong province, and to study the SWB ofstate-owned commercial bank staffs in Guangdong province.In the prepared research, the preceding research and the formal research, therandom sample of 685 state-owned commercial bank staffs from 8 cities inGuangdong province was chose as the subjects. By the way of literature analyzing,interviewing and investigating, and with the use of some statistic methods such asfactors analysis, correlation analysis and SEM (Structural Equation Model) analysis, aSubject Well-Being Scale for the state-owned commercial bank staffs in Guangdongprovince has been worked out and the measurement traits of the self-compiledquestionnaire were probed into in final. With the intention to find which type ofdemographic variable may influence bank staffs' SWB, and to find the relationsbetween work family conflict, general self-efficacy and SWB, the regression analysis,dominance analysis and ANOVA were used.The results of this study indicated some main conclusion as follow.Firstly, there were eight evaluation criteria of the SWB for the state-ownedcommercial bank staffs in Guangdong province: job satisfaction, work-family relation,support from family and affection, self-satisfaction, harmonious job atmosphere,interpersonal relation stress, negative affect and physical health & mental health.Secondly, the whole scale has good reliability and validity.Thirdly, compared with other occupation, the overall SWB of state-ownedcommercial bank staffs has the characteristic of large and medium stete-ownedenterprisies and knowledge workers, the SWB is higher than mean value, and the scores that the staffs gained on the overall and eight specifics' SWB were umbalance.The staffs have gained more support from family and affection and felt moreself-satisfaction. Meanwhile, they have felt more stress from work-family relation.Fourthly, the factors about the bank staffs themselves such as monthly pay, theeconomic level of city they work in, age and position can influence the SWB and thefacets of SWB. Individuals with different gender, married condition, childrencondition and educational level have no significantly different scores on the staffs'SWB, but have significantly different scores in some facets of SWB.Fifthly, general self-efficacy, WFC and FWC explain different variance to SWBand the facets of SWB。... |
