The essay, in view of existing problems among the students in class, mainly states ten learning methods about how the high school students should adept in the class. The ten methods are obtained through the questionnaire in class as well as the analysis of the high school students' lelvel of participation. The ten learning methods are as follows:1. to make good preparations before class2. to concentrate on their lessons, don't be absentminded3. to follow the teacher's train of thought4. to catch the important and difficult points5. to be brave to voice opinions and ask questions6. to understand the concepts in class7. to listen to the teacher with a definite purpose8. to keep the balance between listening and making notes9. to make full use of two 'three minutes' consciously10. to be skilled in summarizing the key pointsThe writer has applied the ten learning methods above to the teaching practice, and given students some careful guidance. In addition, the writer has made the rectification, aiming at correcting the improper ways the students attend lectures.The writer collected the students' exam results for 5 times separately before and after the guidance of learning methods and then made the comparative analysis. It turns out that the learning methods above have taken on a practical guided significance in improving the students' level of participation.
