The new mathematics curriculum standard pays attention to make the student develop comprehensively, continually and harmoniously, emphasizes the student's application consciousness. This is consistent to the goal of mathematics for all and the problem-solving. Mathematic applied question is the typical content to manifest the application of mathematics in the middle school stage, one of the ways to understand mathematics application for the student, also one important way to check the applying consciousness and ability of the student at present. Through the applied questions, the students can be trained how to think and solve the problems with mathematic way, to feel the close relation deeply between the mathematics and the real world close relation. Moreover, the student can be improved in the abilities of analyzing and solving problems through solve the applied questions.The new mathematics curriculum standard has brought us the new education idea, and the new teaching material presents us new course content. In this article, it profoundly comprehended the spirit of "the Full-time Compulsory education Mathematics Curriculum Standard (Experiment)" (hereafter refers as "new class standard"), thoroughly analyzed "the new century version" junior middle school mathematics teaching material by Beijing Normal University (hereafter refers as "new teaching material") and the new characteristic of the applied questions in the enrollment tests for high school in recent years, and then adopted the methods of "the questionnaire survey" and "the applied question test analysis" to understand the question which exists in the applied question study, proposed the mathematics applied question teaching principles: expansibility principle, adaptation principle, activity principle, construction principle, simulated principle and reconsidering principle. Finally it summarized five teaching strategies from the practice: the applied question teaching must strengthen student's independent inquisition, the cooperation exchange, pay great attention to the language to transform, strengthen mathematics modeling consciousness the raise, strengthen the original cognition regulation, and use the multimedia establishment question situation fully.
