| A complete and flexible higher education system is an important social support system for a country's economic growth and national strength, and the complementing of its two types of education (A and B) is the basic guarantee for the healthy development of higher education system itself.First, this paper analyzes the ISCED97 classification standard for higher education, and studies the two types of higher education in depth, and then reveals the typical characters of B-Type higher education. On the basis of the analysis on Germany, the United States, Japan and China's two types of cases (Taiwan and Shenzhen Polytechnic), and considering the current situation of China's Higher Vocational Education and undergraduate education reform and the status issue, the author establishes an B-Type model for China's Higher Vocational Education through three aspects such as the theoretical cumulative duration, the training institutions and the communication of B-Type and A-Type of Higher education etc.Drawing support from the model, the author analyzes the theoretical cumulative duration, the training institutions and the necessity and feasibility of the establishment of undergraduate and the above level of China's B-Type higher education, and studies the communication of Type-B and Type-A of Higher education. Besides, the author discusses the influence internal and external factors of this model to support the healthy development of China's B-type higher education system. The paper aims to give measures for the development and the reform of China's B-type higher education, with a view to promoting our country's higher education system. |
