Since the 1980s, along with the teacher vocational request, the reflective teaching have vigorously emerged during the pedagogical education reform in the western developed country , and then from this gradually form the teaching ideological trend which influence various countries education practice teaching. Our country also has carried on a series of theoretical and the practical research on the reflective teaching since it was introduced. The high school geography new curriculum reform has challenged the original curriculum and the teaching tradition by the brand-new idea. As the curriculum reformer, How to renew our own education teaching idea? How to change our own education teaching behavior? How to hold the opportunity to meet the challenge? All is worth pondering question. This topic has promulgated the actual question and provided the reference pattern for the modern teacher by understanding reflective teaching situation for middle school geography teacher.This topic summarizes the practice of the author's reflective teaching, and reveals substaintial questions of puting reflective teaching in practice in the basic education. It offers high school geography teachers a mode which tell how to grasp the theoretics of reflection, train the reflective ability and improve the level of reflection.This paper consists of four sections:Part One explains the origins of the main topics. It analyzes the current status of reflective teaching in the new geography curriculum and tells the significance and methods of the research.Part Two mainly describes the essential character and the functions of the reflective teaching in high school geography teaching. So it provides the theoretical basis for the study.Part Three is the basic ways and methods for teachers' reflective teaching.The strategies and ways for geography teachers are proposed in this part.Part Four is analysis of the suggestions on the factors influencing teachers' reflective teaching. Also the directive methods are provided to improve the teachers' reflective teaching ability.Finally, the thesis summarizes the existing problems in the studying process and imagines the prospect of reflective teaching.
