Since 1980s, with the development of normal education reform in western countries and the demanding of teacher profess ionization, reflective teaching rose vigorously and gradually became the teaching thoughts influencing the teaching practice in the world. Series of theoretical and practical studies were made after the introduction of reflective teaching in China. Present reflective teaching status of chemistry teachers in high school and problems in practice are explored in the thesis. Also the reference to the improvement of modern teachers is suggested in the study.The study purpose: Revealing the defeats of present teachers and their teaching, the thesis provides the reference to the improvement of modern teachers. The study aims to enhance the teacher's practical knowledgeable proficiency, to improve teachers' autonomous specialization, and to heighten the theoretical proficiency. In addition, the study provides the operative strategies in cultivating the reflective teachers who adapt the new chemistry curriculum. The methodology adopted in the thesis includes observation, questionnaire, interview and analytical discussion etc.The introduction expounds the cause of the study on teacher's reflective teaching, the application status of reflective teaching in new curriculum and the methodology in the study.The thesis includes five parts.Part One is the theoretical discussion of reflective teaching. This part mainly describes the essential character and the functions of the reflective teaching in high school chemistry teaching. So it provides the theoretical basis for the study.Part Two is basic contents of high school teachers' reflective teaching. Based on this point, the thesis explores the study.Part Three is the basic ways and methods for teachers' reflective teaching. The strategies and ways for chemistry teachers are proposed in this part.Part Four is analysis of the suggestions on the factors influencing teachers'reflective teaching. Also the directive methods are provided to improve the teachers' reflective teaching ability.Part Five analyzes the implementation of reflective teaching in present high schools by the concrete teaching cases. This part directs practically on teachers' reflective teaching.Finally, the thesis summarizes the existing problems in the studying process and imagines the prospect of teachers' reflective teaching.
