Confucian Educational Thought And Ancient Greece Thinking A Comparative Study

The educational thoughts of Pre-Qin in China and the ancient Greek were various with rich content, which have had an important impact on the educational concepts at home and abroad. From a relatively unique perspective, by the comparative method with the knowledge of the cultural history, the education history, the philosophy history, this paper studies the most representative thinkers of China Pre-Qin and ancient Greece ,Confucius, Socrates and Xunzi, Plato and their educational thought. The purpose is to scientifically understand, assess and discard these ancient education thoughts and tradition, and then to think and comparatively study these thinkers' problems such as the "moral education" , the "humanistic education" and the "personality education" and so on ,from which the inspiration can be drawn that it will be beneficial for today's education to develop and operate.
