Along with our country's secondary vocational education reform and development, the secondary vocational school's merger has increased gradually by the combined action of the layout adjustment and many reform's measures associated with the school. The merger involves a various factors, in which economic factor is a noticeable one. The author tried to use the economic analysis to evaluate the secondary school's merger, and hoped that it would be useful for reference to the realization of the vocational schools' merger.The article consists of five parts. The first part introduced the domestic survey of the secondary vocational schools' merger and analyzed its causes. The second part studied the disposition of teaching and administrative staff, personnel's work settlement , and the determination of reasonable compensation utilizing economic gambling theory, the cost - income theory, the opportunity cost theory, the marginal utility theory, the marketing study on market localization theory. The third part studied on the usage of funds utilizing the "limit effect axiology" of economics, and on the development of the fund using capital increment of economics. The fourth part worked over the management of the equipments during the process of merger by using the property appraisal method, market competition theory, resources most superior disposition idea, and over the revised name of the merging schools borrowed the marketing study on brand theory. Finally, the author pointed out the problems of the secondary vocational schools' merger that should be studied in the future.
