From The Occult To Reveal Itself

This paper researches on the teacher culture embodied in teachers' blogs. By going deep into a middle school that is well-known for teachers' blogs and getting close to a group of passionate teachers there who are blog activists, we could perceive the impact and influence of teachers' blogs on the growth of teachers' individual life and the development of the teacher community and the teacher culture. Exhibiting the authenticity and diversity of teacher's individual life, teachers' blogs have aroused a series of changes in the teacher culture, which has changed the situation that teachers feel hesitated to express their pedagogical faith to willing to express, the narrative means from privately recording to open publication, the interrelationship pattern from singular and passive to diverse and interactive, and the living world from closed to open. Teachers'blogs have promoted the mutual growth of the teacher community, given birth to the teacher co-learning colony, and made the life lust of education coruscating vigorously.Teachers' blogs do not only provide a platform for teachers to exchang their experience but are gradually developing into a working manner and life style of teachers as well as a new carrier for the development of the teacher culture. Based on an ethnographic research into teachers' blogs in an ordinary middle school, the thesis displays dynamically the changing trend of the teacher culture in teachers' blogs and also the living state of the new generation of teaches who are blog activists. As one kind of modernized media, teachers' blogs have played an important role in linking managers and teachers, teachers and teachers, teachers and students as well as teachers and parents. This paper makes an attempt to to discuss the change in teacher culture stemmed from teachers' blogs in modern information society. Teachers' Blogs have enriched the connotation of the teacher culture, brought it a cultural return to the ordinary people culture, and made the teacher life state change from relatively closed to naturally open.
