As the changes of economic system and the increase way of economy, Chinese traditional employment system has been broken. Many people that are redundant in state enterprises leave their work and become unemployed. This unemployment is structural and systemtic. Among these joblesses, female are in the majority. Their lives and job changes get more and more attention in society, and have already been the one of the focuses of government and social concern.Based on the theory of social support , and from the angle of view of social gender, this thesis is established in jobless, which is a kind of job change, and study the social support and responses of laid-off women workers in job change in the period of social transformation. So, the thesis describes social support laid-off women workers get, and search the reason why it exists and the effect it does on job changes of laid-off women workers. And it analyzes their responses to re-employment, and specially reveals that the laid-off women workers are often excluded in their responses to re-employment.Through the study, one conclusion is that both the informal and fomal social supports or services laid-off women workers get in job changes are less in quantity and not good in quality. The other is that the effect about re-employment that laid-off women workers in job changes get by various ways is not as good as expected, and the phenomenon of being excluded by society is serious. For such conditions, then it gives some proposals to help laid-off women workers to get more social support, and to improve the circumstances and the strength of their responses. Efforts from many directions are needed to solve the problems of laid-off women workers in job changes effectively and to boost the healthy development of laid-off women workers in the way of occupation development. The first new idea of the thesis is to try to analyse the social supports laid-off women workers get in job changes in the perspective of social sex, which makes up the lack of this in other studies. The second one is to emphasize the force of laid-off women workers themselves by using responses of laid-off women workers as a variable. Since most of the home and abroad researches are in theories, the third one is to try to get conclusion based on the experimentative study by using Zhengzhou as an example, and to support the formulation of related policies with theories.
