After 20 years' reform in economic structure, China is now on the way to the implementation of institutional transformation from planned economy to Socialist market of unemployment. With the adjurstment of industrial structure, the reform of employment system and the deepening reform of the state-owned-enterprise, the re-employment in the urban areas have emerged and become more and more serious. Compared with man, women are more pitiable vicitims when confronted by the crisis of unemployment for there are more female laid-offs than male ones and women are about to have more barriers to overcome before they are re-employed.This paper takes the laid-off women as its research object and try to analyze the re-employment of laid-off women through the pointview of the interaction between individual and structure, with the "weak embedment" theory which is a middle-level theory in female research, and the duality of structure as its macro academic foundation, based on the support of an investigation. The re-employment of laid-off women is a manner to acclimatize themselves to the reform of social structure. It is also the embodiment of laid-off women's mobility. But, the mobility of the laid-off women is restricted by the sociality endowed by social structure, and re-construct the new social life structure for laid-off women. This paper stresses the re-shape of laid-off women's sociality by the reform of social structure, which is also their adaption to social reform. At the same time, this interaction between individual and structure, reflects the characteristics and obstacles of their re-employment in social reform.
