Exploring type teaching was proposed in the 1960's, has a history of more than 40 years by now, its core is to cultivate student's science exploring ability and method by understanding scientific concept and science exploring essence during exploring. Although the theorists have done effective research on exploring type teaching as well as its connotation, significance and characteristic and so on. But for the concrete situation and effect of implementing exploring type teaching in each place, the science exploring arrangement for new teaching material, the science exploring topic establishment for Mid-Term Examination, the exploring type chemistry subject preparation, design and implementation practice research are not much actually.Therefore, firstly the penman carried on investigation and analysis of implementing exploring type teaching to Yangzhou urban district partial chemistry teachers, simultaneously carried on theory analysis and research to the exploring type teaching, and established the basic pattern which adapts to junior high school chemistry exploring type teaching. In addition, the penman has carried on a series of practice exploration based on theoretical research: (1) analysis of existing circumstance and improvement measure investigation and study of junior high school chemistry experiment exploring; (2) observation and analysis of Yangzhou junior high school chemistry selecting excellent class exploring type teaching; (3) design process analysis of classic exploring type chemical class; (4) science explore settings research of Shanghai-teaching Version junior high school chemistry new teaching material; (5) analysis of science explore test items of Mid-Term Examination chemistry examination paper in recent three years; (6) design and implement multisection exploring type chemical class and so on.Moreover, through further analysis research to practice exploring content, the penman obtained some beneficial enlightenment, and utilized it in chemistry teaching. However, the penman also discovered some deficiencies to start exploring type teaching process: such as obsolete teacher idea, lack hardware class hour insufficient, high pressure of sit for an examination and so on, these factors have affected exploring type teaching implementation effect to a great extent. In view of these actual problems, the penman also proposed related rationalization proposal, in order to provide some feasible reference for local junior high school chemistry teacher to start exploring type teaching, so that the exploring type teaching obtains further development in depth and breadth.
