In nowadays, we have entered an information age. Information has become the most important resources of human society. The modern technique development with the nucleus of computers and network is changing the ways of our production, life, work and study. Applying Information Technology (IT) to teaching practice is necessary for social development, and required by education modernization as well. Since the middle of 1990's, developed countries, such as American, have began the research and practice work of integration of information technology with curriculum (IITC) which purpose is fostering students' information literacy and creativity. At world the countries with high information-based degree education are all too to put IITC in the very important position during the course of information technology educational development. With the further development of our country' basic education reforms and the implementation of the new course standard, IT has become a new increasing and supporting point in Chinese education development. The use and integration of modern information technique in biological teaching give a new developable space to biological teaching activities. It is the material base of improving teaching efficiency and results. It can make biological teaching activities get plentiful and promotion entirely. The author here tries to reform the traditional biology teaching pattern by putting IITC theory into practice, on the basis of learning from the others' theories and ideas, cultivate the students' activity, team spirit, creativity to acquire information through various ways. In this way, biology teaching is entitled to students-centered, i.e., not only cultivating the students by knowledge-acquiring, but paying more attention to the development of all students in an all-around way.The thesis uses the methods of literature research, investigation and experiment, etc. The following seven parts composes this thesis:Part One displays the concept involved toward the text, at first, which is IT, integration, the integration of IT and biology curriculum. Secondly described background and meaning that the subject puts forward.Part Two mainly displays the theatrical foundation of integrating IT into curriculum and their tutoring meanings. Such as the study theory of behaviorism, cognitivism, constructivism, humanism and high school students' psychological characteristic.Part Three is mainly about the basic principles in implementing integrating IT into biology curriculum.Part Four describes the basic principles in implementing integrating IT into biology curriculum and strategies in practicing the integration teaching mode.Part Five mainly explores the teaching mode of integrating IT into biology curriculum and its implementation. From the five aspects of guidelines, teaching goal, operation sequence, realizing condition and teaching appraisement, structures and demonstrates four teaching modes relatively in an all-round way. Such as mode of simulation, inquiring teaching mode based on IT, mode of self-study and coaching based on biology website, research-based learning on the ground of Internet. Through going deep into the classroom, listening to the teachers and the students, analyzed and apprized the effect of taking the integration teaching mode into practice.Part Six describes the research into integrating IT into biology curriculum implementation in teaching in high schools. By putting IITC theory into practice and tests its feasibility in the real-life teaching, this thesis shows the positive effects of IITC for biology teaching in high schools in cultivating the students' activeness, interest and attitudes to learning, cooperative attitudes as well as making achievements in their learning. Part Seven gives a conclusion of the study.Part Eight analyzes the problems occurred in integrating IT into biology curriculum implementing and puts forward corresponding proposals.
