Home-school cooperation has already become the theme of education research and school reform for every country and it is the tendency of education. From 1990's, home-school cooperation attracted many attentions at our country. People begin to realize that school alone can hardly bear the responsibility of teenagers' education. Social strength, especially home education, must be strengthened in order to promote the development of the students. As the nomination of building new socialistic rural areas in 16th Party Congress, politic, economy, culture and other aspects in rural areas have a rapid development; meantime, higher standards of education for countryside are requested. Only school education alone cannot meet the requirement of the education development of the rural areas. So, how to coordinate home education and school education, research for new teaching methods and improve the studying and education environment become one of the most important themes of many education workers.Now, most of our rural areas people have already realize the importance of the cooperation between school and home. Some rural schools even have found some cooperative organization such as "Community of Parents" or "Parents School" and they issue relative regulations. But in the process there are still many deficiencies. Based on many references, by using questionnaire and interview, this paper makes deep researches on primary and middle school teachers and parents, expatiates the statue quo of the home-school cooperation in primary and mid school of the rural areas. On this basis, from social, family, school and management aspects, analyses the obstacles in the home-school cooperation, and then presents some feasible strategies from the below three aspects: strength the concept of home-school cooperation, form a reasonable cooperative model of home-school cooperation, issue the relative laws, and found cooperative organization, in order to promote the expansion of home-school cooperation and to accelerate the development of the students in primary and middle schools in rural areas.
