Universities And Colleges Admissions Policy Value Orientation Of Research

Admission policy of colleges and universities(APCU), as a important educational policy of entering universities, has already been changed several times since founding the state, and has exerted an important influence on the development of our country. Because APCU are influenced by polities, economy, education, and so on, its value orientation is paid attention to more and more by people in recent years. In this dissertation, difference phenomenon of APCU, as one of the hot questions to APCU, is examined. In addition, based on general principle of value philosophy and public policy, value orientation of APCU are explored in a structured way.Chapter one is a part of the introduction, and mainly carry on the theory to prepare for following research. By documents research, value orientations of value philosophy, public policy, and educational policy is pointed our.Chapter two is about the historical development of APCU. Based of existing research results and the social background of APCU, the change of APCU is divided into 6 states. Furthermore, the rule analysis of this change is carried out.In chapter three, the statistical analysis about the difference phenomenon of APCU is made. Because educational difference is taked as a kind of social structural question, the statistical analysis of this chapter lays particular emphasis on this kind of structural analysis too, namely the analysis of regional difference and urban-rural difference. The result indicates that APCU has the characteristic of dualistic structure, and disparity in APCU has the tendency to expand constantly.Chapter four as main part of this research, discuss the value orientation of APCU in structural difference. In addition, the value orientation of APCU is analyzed in term of the different functions of APCU.Final chapter discuss where APCU should go, and put forward the suggestion about the reformation of APCU.
