This paper begins with the basic theory of the gratefulness education, analyses the meaning and the actuality of the gratefulness education, and concretely researches the necessary, the importance and significance of the gratefulness education, and the kernel and epoch content of the gratefulness education. With the teaching practice, this paper points out the idiographic method and the notice question of the gratefulness education, and tries to provide the academic and the practical instruction to developing the movement of the gratefulness education.There are four parts in the thesis as follows:The first part is about the basic theory of the gratefulness education. It chiefly researches the meanings and the reason of the gratefulness and the meanings of the gratefulness education by the philology.The second part concerns with the necessary, the importance and significance of the gratefulness education of the time. The gratefulness education is not only the important qualification to construct the socialism harmonious community, but also the requirement to develop the Chinese traditional virtue.The third part focuses on kernel content of the gratefulness education. It includes the education to realizing the gratefulness, the education to repaying an obligation, the education to do favor without expecting one's return.
