| Nowadays, for the sake of the teachers' as well as the school's developmental needs, it is of great urgency to carry out school-based teaching research to build the school-based teaching research system that suits the new curriculum. This is also the direction and key point while deepening the teaching reform.After a general review of all the related research work on the school-based teaching research system both at home and abroad, the writer discovers that we have already made great achievements in terms of basic and theoretic research, but as far as practical application is concerned, we still have a long way to go. Thus, as a frontier middle school worker, I think with practical operation as the starting point, it is of great importance for us to make some special reflection on the problems in the school-based teaching research system and conduct more research on the system so as to accelerate the teachers' professional development effectively. Therefore, this thesis mainly focuses on the practicality and realization of the system. Besides, the thesis also conducts case study and quality research on different school-based teaching research systems in schools at the grassroots level, striving to discover and solve the practical problems so that the construction work of the school-based teaching research system can be constantly enhanced.Aiming at illustrating how important the school-based teaching research system is for the teachers' professional development, this thesis makes an overall introduction not only of the intention and extension of the concept — school-based teaching research system, but also of its present state and future tendency both at home and abroad. Based on the school-based teaching research system in a school, the thesis also analyzes the formation of the system and its significance in promoting the teachers' professional development.
