Nowdays the world's economy, science and some material culture show an tendency of an integral whole day by day. The development of many-faceted culture has become a true fact. It is a common idea in culture world to understand and mixture. Being a special feature of Chinese books for high school, modern literary works finally get rid of the position that was treated coldly. They are edited to the Chinese Books for high school. It can help the high school students to understand the worlds culture, to make up the deficiency led by one-sidedness becauce of the one-sidedness of the texts'choice, to keep up with the steps of the age development, to inprove the Students'Chinese atlainment thoreughly. However, modern literature has little in common with traditional literature in theory and aesthetic standards. The methods we used to unscramble and teach aren't effective now. In addition, high school students are doing some extracurricular reading, they must meet some problems on unscrambing modern culture. But in Chinese teaching field, research achievements about modern culture are rave. How will we do the Chinese teaching about modern culture in high school? It's an unavoidable, urgent problem before all the high school teachers.This thesis is guided by the new curriculum standard. It takes the students' development as the core. Aiming at the problems in Chinese subject for high school. It adopts practical research methed, assisting document study, observation method, talk method and investigation method. It raises five trategies on modern culture teaching. It starts from understanding the significance of the modern culture, touching modern social culture to improve the students' understanding and interest to modern culture teaching. It starts from the background that modern culture comes, form the natural regularity that culture itself develops. Combining the Students' Knowledge accumulation, it introduces modern culture macroscopically. It emphasizes preparing lessons before class and collecting relevant materials before class.
