Science of complexity is an intersecting study of complexity and complex systems, which has taken the forward position and aroused general interest among different fields. It focuses on the nature, the social complexity and the complex systems, concerning engineering, biology, economy, management, military affairs and society, thus to reveal the laws of their functioning and evolvement. This science underscores the importance of studying and grasping the subjects as they are, and its great influences have been widely acknowledged.Since long, there have existed the differences between expectations and realities in moral education. The reason, why moral education has not had the expected effects, still remains to be studied and explored. The emergence of the science of complexity provides news ideas and methods. The complexity of moral education demands reexamination of its construction in the perspective of complexity science, and broadened ideas, by which we can achieve the ultimate goals of effectively promoting the moral education.This paper comprises three sections:The first section is concerned with concepts of complexity, complex systems and science of complexity. Although systems are a precise concept, the semantic ambiguity of the concept of complexity makes the ambiguous concept of complex systems. Due to the divergent understandings of complexity and complex systems, the science of complexity, which takes them as subjects, cannot be conformably defined. However, its basic concept provides new perspectives. On the basis of that, some features of complex systems concerned with moral education, such as integrality, non-linearity, chaos, openness and dynamism, are analyzed at a primary level. The revelation and discovery of the above-mentioned features will help us to come up with resolutions accordingly and to dominate complexity to the max so as to resolve the problems in moral education.The second section primarily analyzes the complexity of moral education, in the perspectives of the education objects, the education subjects and the outward circumstances of moral education. The determination of moral education objects are related to people's views about such basic problems as morality, nature of morality and appearance and development of morality while people's views about them are quite different, which makes a discordant problem of the objects of moral education in this field. The subject of moral education is human who himself is a complex system, which determines its complexity and makes it hard to grasp.
