Club In The Development Of A Feasibility Study Of The North China District Of University Athletic Teams

In 1987, the State Education Commission (SEC) issued a document which required establishing advanced sports teams in 51 universities around the country. In 1995, the SEC set a goal of gradually enabling the sports teams established by itself independently to attend the World University Students Sports Meeting and the SEC reconfirmed 53 universities as experimental places which hold track and field, basketball, and etc. as the key projects. According to the requirement of the Announcement made by the Ministry of Education about printing and distributing the lists of universities enroling high-level atheletes and about further enhancing the management of enrolment, there were 102 universities enroling high-level sports teams in 2005 and 235 universities enroling high-level sports teams in 2006.This study adopts several methods including Documentation, Questionnaire Research, Expert Consultation, Contrast and Analysis, and Mathematical Statics, and etc. to carry on a deep study of the present situation of the advanced sports teams in universities of North China and the feasibility of developing the advanced sports teams in universities in the form of clubs.Through the investigation, we can see that the universities are facing several difficulities, such as the inflexbility of the management system; lack of funds; the irrationality of the structure of the student sources; the...
