About 50% of teaching tasks of medical colleges are performed in theaffiliated and teaching hospitals by clinicalteachers. A clinical teachers plays thedouble role of a college teachers and a doctor--not only imparting knowledge andeducating people but curing the sickness to save the patients,their ethics is of greatparticularity.Nowdays due to the enlarged enrollment of universities,with thecorresponding increase in teaching staff, various problems occurï¹—Some medicalcolleges only emphasize students' quality education and neglect the clinicalteachers' professional ethics education.Clinical teachers are engaged not only inteaching the students but also in clinical work to treat the patient.Due to thenegative effects of social factors, e.g. marketing economy and individualfactors,some clinical teachers have certain bad indiratoors.They don't perform theirduties carefully,advocate morey forst and even have academic irregularities.Theycan't comply with the requirement of the teachers'ethics,i.e.loving education andstudents,imparting knowledge and educating people and behaving as a worthyexample,so they bring about some negative effects on society and medical student.In this essay,the current situation of clinical teacher's professional ethics havebeen studied and various manifestation of problems of teachers' ethics as well astheir causes and negative effects have been analysed.This essay brings up theteachers' professional ethics and their content which clinical teachers should obeyand suggests the "people-centered"educational concept and carry out the principleof "developing with times and treating teachers as the subject of practice"and putsforward some practical and effective measures to enhance the moral awareness ofthe clinical teachers and serve clinical education better.Meanwhile,I am trying toconstruct the theory system of clinical teachers' professional ethics and moralconstruction and education through moral education practice.The methods ofdocument,interview and questionnaire were used.
