The thesis discusses first what is sequential psychometry and what roles sequential psychometry plays in study memory. Then the author attempts to combine information theory and study psychology together with the present conditions of senior high students in mathematics study, and abstract some theory among what are so familiar to readers and learners. Through the following four aspects, "Coding according to natural sequence" , "Coding according to internal relations of information" , "Coding by making effective use of positive and oppositive sequences" , "Simplifying and contracting information as well as fitting a handle on information" , the author discusses how to improve the information coding for making use of the functions of sequencial psychometry in mathematical memory, to develop and enhance students' ability in mathematics study, based on the changing features of senior students' sequential psychometry. On the basis of theoretical research, the author finished an experimental teaching research in a school year from September 2003 to September 2004, and received a remarkable result.
