| With the great progress of society and the development of science and technology, there has been deep change in the basic idea about the world education, along with which arises Comprehensive curriculum of liberal arts, whose occurrence and implementation is both inevitable and indispensable in the course of education development.During the past three years as a graduate student, I've been participating in the 'State's Tenth Five-Year Plan of national science of education called "the research of the comprehensive curriculum of liberal arts set--up and mode" undertaken by Geography Educational Centre of the City and Environmental science Institute of Tianjin Normal University all the time. In the constant discussions and discoveries, some questions of implementing comprehensive curriculum of liberal arts in our country come to surface. After further understanding, I decided to write my master thesis centeringon the sub item of the subject of " ten five" ----the Implementationof Comprehensive curriculum of Liberal Arts.The present paper tries to give us a clear idea about the comprehensive curriculum of liberal arts, its implementing intension, meaning, the course and current situation and so on. At the same time, a questionnaire investigation on the implementation of comprehensive curriculum of liberal arts has been made in six provinces and cities across the whole country, and reliable data has been accumulated. And a statistical analysis of the data offers sufficient objective evidence to draw a conclusion on the attitudes and viewpoints of the investigated people on such matters as the circumstance, basis, goal,... |
