There is great need for science teachers with high quality in the new era .In the new curriculum reform , science teachers are required to change the teaching methods greatly. Accordingly, teacher training courses should be improved .Firstly, main problems in current science teacher training are analyzed according to the requirements in new science curriculum reform. Secondly, through the practice and research of " Macau science teacher training" ,the new training model-Inquiry and dialogue training model is presented. It mainly consists of five steps: collecting and classification, inquiry and construction , transfer and extension , dialogue and negotiation , reflection and assessment. The training procedures are explained in the theoretical perspective. The application of the model is expounded by the teaching practice in Macau te achers' training .There are great use for references to current teacher training Pay great attention to teachers' pre-conception; collect and classify the pre-conception in teachers' science inquiry. Make use of the pre-conception, and lead teachers' construction of knowledge and conception change. Reflect and assess the training process in the course of transfer and extension.The possible troubles in the model are analyzed at the end of the paper. It should be improved in the future teacher training practices.
