Processing And Use Of Network Services In Geographical Teaching Educational Information Resources

As a primary constituent of network, information resources is presented and conveyed in various ways on network, which can help build a sound learning surroundings. Such trait makes information resources on network totally applicable to geography teaching in which teaching resources is of great importance and, as a result, constitutes learner-oriented teaching concept. Nevertheless, network information does not inherently possess teaching idiosyncrasy. Without appropriate processing and organizing, it cannot be used as valid resources in geography teaching practice.Taking the traits of both geography teaching and network information resources in account, the author of this paper first analyzes and comments the current application of network information resources in geography teaching. In the main body of the paper, the author systematically elaborates the geography teaching-based network information resources in three levels as teaching design, resources processing and website construction according to the theories of modern teaching design, teaching information and website planning respectively. In the paper, the author focuses on the processing and application of website information resources in geography teaching by doing empirical studies on the processing and organizing principles of information resources, the processing of page element, the creation of the learner-centered geography web-based learning environment, and the construction of comprehensive geography subject learner's website by using information resources etc..
