Slowly A Smile - The World Of Homosexuality

Through reading the diary ——"Smiling in Slow Motion"of Derek Jarman, the writer thinks a lot about homosexuality, analyses reasons from innate and acquired factors. Innate factor, generally speaking, is physiology factor , such as genetic gene, hormone level , cerebrum structure and so on . Acquired factors include mental and social factors . And in acquired factors , the writer talks about the reason about how a man can become a gay , for example , appreciation for young boy in ancient Greek , Oedipus complex , Narcissism ,Vacant occupation etc. That's the first part . In the second part , we talk about that so many artists , e.g. Oscar Wild , Leslie ,Tomas , achieved much in art field . You know, art ,a special , unique field , and the artists, should be provided with special characters about male and female . So , lots of homosexual person appear in art garden . The third part , problem is homosexual identification from society , others and themselves . The last part , the writer makes a systematic exposition about "QUEER"—very important and stylish topic in sociology and psychology . Queerists have high academic attainments , high income , but they run counter to tradition , but the point is , we should respect and understand the relatively small social group with broad heart.I think any self-respective love or emotion should be well respected.
