Language is the keystone of culture and plays an important role in it. onthe other hand, language is shaped and influenced by culture. TheTexkeisonymy is the pith and prototype of name culture of Miao people inXijiang, which obeys special naming custom and reflects miao people'straditional culture, it is a comprehensive and valuable issue to study .The first part makes a study of survey, migration and national origin ofMiao People to show the historical process and draw a general picture of Xi-jiang .The second part deals with Texkeisonymy's characters, sorts,developments, backgrounds of forming and social functions to expound itsappearances and features in language .The third part analyses the culture factors producing the particular namingsystem in three aspects that's system culture, material culture, spiritual cultureto help us to go further into understanding the relationships between MiaoPeople's language and culture .The final part illustrates the author's some thoughts in the prospectiveresearches and some questions or drawbacks in this paper .
