This paper based on a conclusion about reading problems, from two aspects of between teachers and students, in vocational secondary school, according to the survey for present reading situation among students in some school with representation. Meanwhile, in accordance with the existing problems, it also made a further analysis to find out the original source from many ways, such as vocational education system, traditional idea, guiding principle, outdate teaching method, students' self-qualities as well as social influence.In addition, the writer proposed reforming advice from two sides both in class and after, linking self teaching experience, quoting advanced researching achievements both from ancient times to present age and at home and abroad; absorbing running experience from developed countries; at the same time, she pointed out that present reading teaching in vocational school should connect with practice, alter narrow and old opinions, enhance theory study, emphasis the connection of the humanism and the instrumentalism , base upon class teaching , supplied by extracurricular reading , improve students' reading qualities thoroughly.The writer hoped that the suggestions could put more energy into depressed reading teaching and also offer some reference.
