Online Courses Learning Environment Design

With the development of computer and Internet, Internet makes the teaching activity separate in space time. As a result, teaching and learning can't face to face directly. The development of the teaching activity mainly depends on the web-based courses, the realization of education goals also depends on the web-based courses. As a fresh thing, it is urgent to have a deep and further research on the learning environment design of web-based courses, which can meet the need of the reform of Chinese education, information age, modern idea of education and long time education.Based on the analysis on the current research all around the world, the instructional design of web-based courses seldom concerns the construction of web-based learning environment, the process of web-based learning and the design, development and realization of the support learning service based on the communication and interaction of technology and media. Even the related researches are just talked in general only in some sides. At the same time, there are few people who can give the evaluation about the learning environment of web-based courses.In this thesis, first by theory research, we give definitions separately to courses, web-based courses, learning environment and web-based courses learning environment. Then we have an analysis on the investigation of the current actuality and the requirement of web-based courses learning environment, and we get the design principle about the learning environment of web-based.Secondly, we use many research methods which are based on the modern learning theory, modern courses theory, instructional design theory, network communication theory and aesthetic theory to design the five key elements in the learning environment of web-based courses. These five key elements are: information, interaction, evaluation, support and aesthetics.Finally, referring to the related evaluation standard, we evaluate the learning environment of the web-based courses and design a set of evaluation system.
