| Qian MengLong and Wei Shusheng are the representative figures of the reform of teaching methodology in Chinese language of China' s middle school.The well-known" Three main points" idea proposed by Qian MengLong has influeuced the teachers' teaching-concept deeply, and was enamplified fully by his own teaching-arts. Wei ShuSheng called for "science and democracy" , which along with the reform in managing arts gave scope to the students' mitiative and creative ness. What they have done nenewed the Chinese langnag teaching style. Both of them realized the key voles of students as well as teachers in the course of studyring. They believed that "teachers hold the leading position" in this course and their educational concept has changed a lot.Mr.Qian focused on the students' training of reading comprehension and fosters the students' ability to study on their own; at the same time, Mr.Wei payed special attention to 'scientific and democratic" managing style. Forthermore, in order to change the traditional teaching methodology of Chinese language, they attempted to practice "Scientificnism" in their teaching, and showed their distinctive style by using rarious ways of teaching as well as their own clear personautyies.There exists some differeuce between their reform. Though both of them could appl)' the knowledge-of psychology and pedagoagy and put their own experience to use, Mr.Qian lays emphasis on carry forward and dvelope the elicitation method of teaching and Mr. Wei on the practice of modern educational theory. For this reason, there are also some differences between their inform.In fact, their reform have gained great rewarding, but most part of which only came from their own erperieme. It' s necessary to raise their theory to a higher level, further their researching Project and perfect their theory.To absorb the results of modern edueational theory is as important as inherit and develop the traditional pedogoay of language. Only by followring the rules of language teaching mothod, can the modernation of this method be realized.The reform of teaching mathodology of Chinese language is really a compler,systematic progect. It needs to utilize the knowledge of pedogoay, psychology and the theory of branch of learning etc. The long-term research and organized exploration are also necessary.The teachers' indiridual character is becoming more and more important in the practicing of "quality education" .So the teaclers' , espcially the ones of Chinese language should try to form their own clear-cut teaching style. |
