Based on the theory of physics curriculum and large amounts of literature search, the thesis makes a qualitative compare of physics curriculum standard of high school in a wide range of countries and the teaching syllabuses of high school in China all through the ages, making a systemic complete discussion and research.Since 1980s, large-scale reformation of high school curriculum has taken place in world wide, among which reformation of physics curriculum has been a remarkable one. As the creed of the curriculum reformation, the reformation of physics curriculum standard has been mostly emphasized. In 2003, China educational committee came out with an experimental version of senior high school physics curriculum standard, and in the same year, Shanghai educational committee came out with a consultive version of high school physics curriculum standard in Shanghai. This reformation has widely drawn the attention in all circles, and I was great honored to take part in the edit of the consultive version of high school physics curriculum standard in Shanghai.Curriculum standard provides the principle of teaching material, teaching process, educational evaluation and examination questions. It's also the basis on which the nation supervises and evaluates the education. Curriculum standard prescribes the property, the target, the content, the setting of curriculum, and gives suggestions on teaching and educational evaluation. Therefore, curriculum target, curriculum setting, curriculum content and curriculum evaluation make up of the most important core of a curriculum standard. The thesis gathers physics curriculum standard of high school in a wide range of countries as well as the literature on curriculum reformation of many countries, and the teaching syllabuses in China all through the ages since 1949 together with reference of curriculum reformation in China, then makes detailed comparing research on curriculum target, curriculum setting, curriculum content and curriculum evaluation. First, parallel compare is made between countries in order to get the international trend of physics curriculum reformation nowadays. Then, compare is made between the teaching syllabuses in China aiming at the direction of physics curriculum reformation in China. According to the result of analysis, we can see that consisting with the trend of international curriculum reformation, most countries are trying to adjust the curriculum target to advance the total scientific accomplishment of all the students and to train students to be persons who can meet the need of the development of society, science and economy. The curriculum settingis showing more respect to the requirement of the students and society. Students can choose by self-determination among the various courses. The curriculum content is converted from all-inclusive into well-chosen. More emphasis is placed on the relationship between physics knowledge and development of society, physics knowledge and application of technology, physics knowledge and our daily life. A wide range of methods of educational evaluation is used to improve the students' potential, their individuality and their creativity.Based on large amount of practicing work, comparing research has been done on the international trend of physics curriculum reformation nowadays and the direction of physics curriculum reformation in China. Then in order to perfect the consultive version of high school physics curriculum standard in Shanghai, suggestions have been given on curriculum target, curriculum setting, curriculum content and curriculum evaluation. What is more, it is hoped that the research work of the thesis would be of use to the research of curriculum standard in China and helpful to the development of curriculum standard that is an important achievement of the second curriculum reformation in Shanghai.
